Non-energy minerals stocks gained the most on New Zealand's Exchange, rising past 2% in midday Wednesday.
Santana Minerals (NZE:SMI, ASX:SMI) saw the sharpest increase in the sector, gaining more than 4% in recent trade.
The company on Wednesday confirmed a major down-plunge extension at its Rise and Shine (RAS) deposit, extending and notably thickening mineralization about 135 meters north of previous drilling.
Meanwhile, the industrial services sector shares fell nearly 1%.
Ventia Services Group (ASX:VNT, NZE:VNT) was down almost 1% in recent trade.
