Meteoric Resources NL (ASX:MEI) received a non-binding and conditional letter of support from Export Finance Australia for the Caldeira Rare Earth project in Brazil, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The letter of support provides indicative financing of up to $50 million for the execution phase for the development of the project, the filing said.
The company is also in talks with the Brazilian Development Bank and other Export Credit Agencies for further project funding, the filing added.
