Pop Mart International Group (HKG:9992) began producing toys from its new manufacturing hub in Mexico, Bloomberg News reported Monday, citing an interview with a company spokesperson.

The new facility joins the firm's existing factories in Cambodia and Indonesia in expanding the Chinese toy maker's supply chain beyond China and Vietnam, the spokesperson reportedly said.

Shares of the company were up over 2% in recent midday trade.
