Cummins India (NSE:CUMMINSIND, BOM:500480) has agreed to invest up to 27 million Indian rupees in Clean Max Yellowstone by subscribing for at least 8.78% equity, according to an Indian exchange filing on Monday.
The investment will be made in one or more tranches, the filing said.
The company also signed energy supply agreements with Clean Max to procure renewable power, including solar, wind or hybrid sources, for its factories and premises.
Shares of Cummins India were down over 1% in recent trade.
