1405 ET - Spotify could benefit from AI in 2026 and beyond, according to Morgan Stanley. Analysts expect AI will be a fundamental element of Spotify's renewed efforts to personalize its platform to individual users. A survey conducted by the investment bank showed listeners are most frequently consuming AI music on YouTube and TikTok. While that indicates the potential consumer base interested in a more active role engaging with AI music is currently limited, Morgan Stanley thinks that's likely to change. The analysts expect these trends to evolve considerably as more licensing agreements are signed between AI music services and rights holders and new consumer services come to market.
