Rio Tinto, Glencore: Novo Nordisk: Overseas Stocks in Focus Friday -- WSJ

Glencore (UK:GLEN): The company is back in talks with Rio Tinto (UK:RIO, RIO) about a potential merger to create the world's largest miner. Glencore shares jumped 9% in London, while Rio Tinto shares dropped around 2.5%.

Novo Nordisk (DK:NOVO.B), (NVO): The drug maker's recently approved Wegovy weight-loss pill is being offered by Amazon (AMZN) Pharmacy. Novo Nordisk shares gained nearly 5% in Denmark.

Pandora (DK:PNDORA): The Danish jeweler's annual organic sales are set to come in below guidance, due to lower store traffic. Shares skidded nearly 13%.

LG Electronics (KR:066570): The South Korean consumer-electronics company expects its first quarterly operating loss in nine years. Shares dropped 3.4% in Seoul.

Fast Retailing (JP:9983): Uniqlo's Japanese owner reported strong quarterly earnings and raised its annual profit guidance. Shares jumped nearly 11% to a record close.
