1531 GMT - WPP heads into 2026 facing concerns on several fronts after a challenging 2025 during which it lost market share to French rival Publicis, analysts at Citi say in a research note. Investors will question whether the U.K. advertising group's loss of market share to peers is structural or can be remedied, Citi says. They might have doubts about how WPP and peers perform in the AI era, and about whether its portfolio is fit for the times, Citi adds. "We think it is most prudent to take a wait and see approach for clarity on these issues before taking a more positive or negative view," the analysts say. Citi starts coverage of the stock with a neutral recommendation and a target price of 3.65 pounds. Shares fall 3.8% to 3.37 pounds. (adria.calatayud@wsj.com)
