Excitement For Nestle Shares Fading as Investors Turn From Staples -- Market Talk
Dow Jones01-12
1425 GMT - Enthusiasm for Nestle's shares after its third-quarter sales figures has proved fleeting, with share gains dwindling as many investors turn away from consumer staples, HSBC analysts write in a note. Its full-year results near the end of February could offer an opportunity to prove that it has firmer foundations for investors, the analysts write. The consumer staples' real internal growth could benefit if it expands its capacity in PetCare, and generally improves execution of the business, they say. Shares are down 0.2% at 75.26 Swiss francs.
