Ravindra Energy Receives Letters of Award to Establish 62 MW(AC) Solar Power Generators Project

Ravindra Energy (BOM:504341) has secured 13 letters of award from Hubli Electricity Supply Company, which entails an estimated project capital expenditure of 2.25 billion Indian rupees, according to a BSE filing on Friday.

The contract is to establish, develop, and operate an aggregate capacity of 62 MW(AC) solar power generators project on the basis of build, own, and operate solar power projects under Hubli Electricity's jurisdiction in the Indian state of Karnataka.

Under the pact, Hubli Electricity will enter into a 25-year power purchase agreement with Ravindra Energy.

The project will be commissioned within 12 months of the signing of the power purchase agreement.

The company's shares were down nearly 1% in recent trade.
