Market Chatter: Nvidia, Salesforce Take Part in $1.4 Billion Funding Round for Robotics Startup Skild AI

Nvidia (NVDA) and Salesforce (CRM) were among the investors who contributed to a $1.4 billion round of series C funding for teachable robotics firm Skild AI, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing an interview with the company's chief executive officer Deepak Pathak.

The funding round, led by SoftBank, valued the company at more than $14 billion and included Macquarie, 1789 Capital, Jeff Bezos' Bezos Expeditions, as well as previous investors Lightspeed Venture Partners, Felicis Ventures, Sequoia Capital and Coatue Management, the report said.

Other investors included Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, and Salesforce, the report said.

Nvidia, Salesforce, and Skild AI did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
