EXCLUSIVE-Angola extends $1 bln debt facility with JPMorgan for three years

LUANDA, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Angola has secured access to an additional $500 million in financing, extending an existing $1 billion debt facility with JPMorgan JPM.N, its finance ministry said on Tuesday.

The new three-year contract carries an interest rate "within 8%", the ministry told Reuters.

Angola and JPMorgan agreed to the initial one-year derivative contract, known as a Total Return Swap, in 2024.
