Prudential (PUK) said Wednesday it has appointed Douglas Flint to succeed Shriti Vadera as chair of the board when Vadera retires after the company's annual general meeting scheduled on May 28.
Flint served as HSBC's (HSBC) group chair from 2010 to 2017, and is currently chair of both Aberdeen Group and IP Group, the company said.
Shares of Prudential were up 1.9% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
