Image credit: Aito)\nAito, the automotive brand jointly developed by Huawei and Seres Group (HKG: 9927), has added longer battery range variants to the extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) of its M7 SUV (sport utility vehicle), following the trend of larger battery packs in comparable models.\nThe two new variants include a 5-seat version and a 6-seat version, priced starting at RMB 299,800 ($42,970) and RMB 319,800 respectively.\nThey deliver a CLTC battery range of up to 327 kilometers, with a combined range of 1,690 kilometers when fully fueled and charged.\n\n\nJoin us on \nTelegram\n or \nGoogle News\n\n\nBoth new variants feature a 53.4 kWh ternary lithium battery and a rear motor delivering a maximum power of 227 kW.\nThe Aito M7 was initially launched on July 4, 2022. On September 23, 2025, the 2026 model year M7 was launched with a starting price of RMB 279,800.\nThe vehicle measures 5,080 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,030 mm.\nIt comes standard with power batteries supplied by CATL (SHE: 300750).
