1025 GMT - BE Semiconductor has industry-leading margins and is supported by cyclical recovery in the company's core mobile and auto markets, ING analysts Marc Hesselink and Thymen Rundberg write. Booming artificial-intelligence data-center demand and the longer-term industry move toward the Dutch company's advanced packaging techniques will drive growth, the analysts say. BE Semiconductor, also known as Besi, reported market-forecast beating orders for the fourth quarter Monday on the back of Asian demand and said it expects quarterly earnings to land at the higher end of guidance. Separately, Korean semiconductor company SK Hynix announced plans to build a $13 billion chip-packaging plant due to increasing chip demand. The company is a key buyer of Besi's advanced packaging equipment. BE Semiconductor gains 2.3%. (josephmichael.stonor@wsj.com)
