China regulator approves American Axle acquisition of Dowlais

HONG KONG, Jan 16 (Reuters) - China's market regulator said on Friday that it approved Detroit based American Axle & Manufacturing's AXL.N purchase of GKN Automotive owner Dowlais Group DWL.L, stating that it had "fully considered" the possible impact of the transaction on competition in China.
