Chinese startup BrainCo filed confidentially for a Hong Kong listing, tapping China International Capital Corp. and UBS Group for the initial public offering, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The startup develops bionic limbs and technologies for human brains to control computers.
The IPO could raise several hundred million dollars, according to the report. The people told the news agency that discussions about the details of the offering, including the size of the IPO, are still ongoing.
The firm recently completed a 2 billion yuan financing round, Bloomberg reported, citing a Shanghai Securities News report.
