New Zealand's total new lending decreased to NZ$12.79 billion in November 2025 from NZ$14.59 billion in October 2025, according to data from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand released on Friday.
New lending fully secured by residential mortgage fell to NZ$7.91 billion in November 2025 from NZ$8.92 billion in the previous month.
Personal consumer new lending decreased to NZ$251 million from NZ$267 million. New lending for business fell to NZ$3.6 billion from NZ$3.77 billion.
Lending for agricultural purposes fell to NZ$902 million from NZ$1.29 billion. Other new lending decreased to NZ$126 million from NZ$343 million.
