The Chinese government departments held a symposium for enterprises to address "disorderly price wars" within the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector, according to a Wednesday press release from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The ministry, along with the National Development and Reform Commission and the State Administration for Market Regulation, convened a meeting with 17 key automobile enterprises.
The meeting discussed the need to boost price monitoring and fair pricing, as well as strengthen regulatory oversight.
