Equinor (EQNR) said Tuesday that it was awarded 35 new production licenses by Norway's Ministry of Energy.
The company said 21 of the awards are in the North Sea, 10 are in the Norwegian Sea, and four are in the Barents Sea. Equinor also said it will serve as operator for 17 of the new licenses.
Equinor shares were 3% higher in recent trading.
