BBC Poised to Unveil New Partnership With YouTube, FT Says, Citing Unnamed Sources

--The BBC is expected to unveil a significant new partnership with YouTube, under which it will create original programming for the platform for the first time, the Financial Times reports, citing unnamed sources.

--The shows will be featured on the British broadcaster's iPlayer and Sounds platforms and the deal could be announced as early as next week, the FT says.

--The BBC and YouTube declined to comment.
