** Co's director Teyin Liu bought shares worth about $7.8 million, as per a regulatory filing on Thursday

** Lui bought 11,660 shares at $337.07 apiece, 3,780 shares at $336.63 and 7,820 shares at $337.50

** On Thursday, chip stocks rallied after upbeat results from advanced AI chipmaker TSMC TSM.N

** As of last close, MU has gained 226% over the past year
