INTEREST RATES

Poland's central bank left its main interest rate PLINTR=ECI unchanged at 4.00% on Wednesday, in line with most analysts' expectations, as it waits to see whether a decline in inflation is sustainable and assesses the impact of recent easing.

IRAN

Polish citizens should leave Iran immediately, the Polish foreign ministry said on Wednesday.

PEPCO

European discount retailer Pepco Group PCOP.WA reported a 4.3% rise in first-quarter revenue to 1.4 billion euros ($1.6 billion) on Thursday, as solid growth at its core budget brand offset a weaker performance at its Dealz chain.

CAR PRODUCTION

Passenger car production in Poland is declining rapidly. It fell by more than half in the first 11 months of 2025, and experts say the outlook for 2026 is poor, Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
