Stellantis (STLA) and Credit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility's joint venture, Leasys, said Tuesday it has signed a financing agreement with the European Investment Bank, or EIB, to support a pan-European clean transport program.
The agreement includes a 300 million euro ($349.6 million) credit line from the EIB, matched by 300 million euros from Leasys, for a total investment of 600 million euros.
The funding will support the rollout of 24,000 zero-emission vehicles in 10 countries, including Italy, France, Germany, Spain and Portugal.
