Keppel Expands Powerbank Capacity Through Acquisition of Lease Rights in Australia

Keppel (SGX:BN4) expanded its powerbank capacity to over 1 Gigawatt through the acquisition of lease rights on a 123-hectare site in Victoria, Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Shares of the infrastructure company were up under 1% in Friday trading.

The site was leased out from Australian energy and infrastructure land owner, Lightwood Group.

Under the lease agreement, the company will pay Lightwood an annual access fee to have early access to the site for pre-development works.
