India's total exports of goods and services declined by 1.01% to $74.01 billion in December 2025 from $74.77 billion a year ago, according to data released by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry on Thursday.
Total imports grew 6.17% year-over-year to $80.94 billion from $76.23 billion, widening the trade deficit to $6.92 billion from $1.46 billion.
The country's exports of goods rose to $38.51 billion in December 2025 from $37.80 billion a year earlier, while services exports declined to $35.50 billion from $36.97 billion.
On the import side, goods increased to $63.55 billion in the reported month from $58.43 billion a year earlier, while services imports slipped to $17.38 billion from $17.80 billion.
