BP (BP) joint venture Aker BP said Tuesday it won ownership interests in 22 exploration licenses on the Norwegian Continental Shelf in Norway's APA 2025 licensing round.
The company also said it has been awarded operatorship in 12 of the licenses.
The awarded licenses are in North Sea, Norwegian Sea and Barents Sea and include a mix of opportunities near existing infrastructure and prospects in less explored areas, Aker BP said.
Work programs include two committed exploration wells and extensive seismic data acquisition, the company said.
