MT Newswires Live01-15

Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CP) said Thursday that 16 tentative collective bargaining agreements reached in recent weeks with various US labor unions have been ratified.

All of the new five-year agreements provide increased wages to around 700 of Canadian Pacific's railroaders working in Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New York, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas and Wisconsin, the company said.

Two more tentative five-year collective agreements, reached last month with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers representing 76 electricians on the Soo Line and Kansas City Southern properties, are yet to be ratified, the company said.
