SK Hynix's Automotive DRAM LPDDR5X Secures ASIL-D Certification

SK Hynix's (KRX:000660) automotive dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) product LPDDR5X secured the ISO 26262 automotive safety integrity level D (ASIL-D) certification, the chipmaker said in a Monday release.

TÜV SÜD, a global functional safety certification agency, gives the ASIL-D certification.

LPDDR5X automotive DRAM products have earned ASIL-D certification, delivering high performance, low power consumption, and strong reliability for next-generation automotive applications such as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), autonomous driving, and in-vehicle infotainment systems.

Shares of SK Hynix rose nearly 1% in recent trade.
