Agrochemical company Best Agrolife (NSE:BESTAGRO, BOM:539660) has allotted around 118.2 million bonus equity shares of face value of 1 Indian rupee in the ratio of 1:2, according to a Friday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The company allotted one equity share of 10 rupees each for every two equity shares of 1 rupee held by the eligible shareholders.
Following the allotment of the bonus equity shares, the post-bonus equity capital has increased to more than 354.7 million rupees, comprising nearly 354.7 million equity shares of 1 rupee each.
The company's shares were down nearly 8% in recent trade.
