Telefonica Files to Suspend Reporting Obligations With US Securities and Exchange Commission

MT Newswires Live01-20

Telefonica (TEF) said Tuesday it is filing forms with the US Securities and Exchange Commission to suspend its reporting obligations.

The move follows Telefonica's delisting of its American depositary shares and some series of debt securities from the New York Stock Exchange, which was announced last month, and became effective Jan. 18, the company said.

The end of the reporting obligations will become effective 90 days after the filing of the forms, unless objected to by the SEC, Telefonica said.
