GoGold Resources' first-quarter production was mixed in its Mexico operations, with gold, silver and base-metal production falling from the prior-year quarter.
On production:
Silver-equivalent production fell to 456,179 ounces from 551,337 ounces in the same quarter a year earlier.
Part of the decline was due to the climb in the price of silver relative to the price of gold, said Chief Executive Brad Langille.
"As we report our production in silver equivalent ounces and the silver price has increased markedly relative to the gold price, our reported silver equivalent production appears lower compared to the previous quarter," Langille said.
Silver output was 205,104 ounces, down from 226,343 ounces a year earlier.
Gold production was 2,914 ounces, down from 3,213 ounces.
GoGold produced 96 metric tons of copper, down from 121 tons in the prior year.
Zinc output fell to 150 tons from 161 tons last year.
