CAE has appointed Ryan McLeod, long-time finance head at Canadian automation company ATS, as its next chief financial officer.
McLeod, who has been CFO of ATS since 2020, will join the Canadian aviation-training and simulation company once his resignation from ATS becomes effective on Feb. 23, CAE said Monday.
He stepped into the interim CEO role at ATS last year after Andrew Hider left to lead Baxter International.
CAE said McLeod's appointment follows a comprehensive search and that he will work alongside interim CFO Constantino Malatesta to ensure continuity during the transition.
ATS said its vice president and corporate controller, Anne Cybulski, will serve as interim CFO while the company searches for a permanent replacement.
The move comes shortly after ATS installed a new chief executive, Doug Wright, who took over last week.
