China Rare Earth Nonferrous Metals (SHA:600259) said President Chen Zhixin will take on the duties of the company's chief financial officer until a new one is appointed.
The move followed the Jan. 9 resignation of Zhang Xigang, the former president who concurrently performed the duties of CFO, according to a Saturday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Shares of the rare earth company closed 1% lower Monday.
