1034 GMT - Nokia is closely watching investment into artificial intelligence and data centers and the impact that a spat between the U.S. and Europe could have on that, Chief Executive Officer Justin Hotard tells CNBC in an interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The potential imposition of new U.S. tariffs linked to Greenland's future status is "not a huge issue" for Nokia, because the Finnish telecommunications company doesn't ship that much from Europe to the U.S., he adds. Physical AI offers a great opportunity for Europe to chart a different path, but the investment needs to be there, Hotard says. "Winning in 6G is going to be critical to winning the physical AI race," he says. (cristina.gallardo@wsj.com)
