Market Chatter: Alphabet's Google Sees Developer Requests for Gemini Rise Significantly

Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google saw developer requests for its Gemini application programming interface surge from 35 billion in March to 85 billion in August, The Information reported late Monday, citing internal data and sources familiar with the matter.

The growth in demand is expected to lift revenue for the company's cloud unit and core server sales ahead of its Q4 earnings report on Feb. 4, the report said.

Gemini Enterprise has reached 8 million subscribers despite mixed feedback from some consultants, the report quoted a Google spokesperson as saying.

Google did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
