Tengizchevroil says it temporarily halts oil production at Kazakhstan's vast Tengiz field

MOSCOW, Jan 19 (Reuters) - Kazakh oil producer Chevron-led Tengizchevroil $(TCO)$ CVX.N said on Monday that it had temporarily halted oil production at the Tengiz and Korolev oilfields due to "an issue which has affected some of the site power distribution systems."

The company is working to identify the root cause of the problem and remedy its effects, Tengizchevroil said.
