Y.C.C. Parts MFG Servers Hit By Cyberattack

Y.C.C. Parts MFG (TPE:1339) said it experienced a cyberattack on Sunday on an encrypted part of its servers, causing temporary system downtime, according to a Sunday bourse filing.

The company's shares were down over 1% in recent Monday trading.

The company said it engaged external cybersecurity experts, activated its defense and recovery protocols, and reported the incident to relevant authorities.

The preliminary assessments indicate no significant impact on operations, information security, or personal data.

The automotive plastic parts manufacturer plans to further strengthen its cybersecurity measures to prevent future incidents.
