Hong Kong plans to develop a logistics cluster for high-value goods, e-commerce, and the low-altitude economy in the Northern Metropolis, the South China Morning Post reported, citing the Transport and Logistics Bureau.
The proposed 30-hectare-plus cluster in the Hung Shui Kiu/Ha Tsuen New Development Area would offer tailored incentives, including land grant arrangements and premium concessions, to attract leading logistics players, according to the report.
The cluster will reportedly comprise five zones, covering high-value goods, e-commerce, freight forwarding, and low-altitude economy activities, and a smart and green transport depot.
Land formation is underway, with sites expected to be ready between 2027 and 2032, the report said.
