Gateway Mining Says Aircore Drilling at Western Australia Gold Project Showed Widespread Gold Anomalism

MT Newswires Live01-19 13:29

Gateway Mining (ASX:GML) said aircore drilling at the Celia Shear and the Mustang Shear structures at the Yandal gold project in Western Australia showed widespread gold anomalism, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The firm encountered intercepts of six meters at 1.4 grams per tonne grade of gold from 144 meters to the bottom of the hole, as well as 16 meters at 1g/t grade of gold from 136 meters.

Its Executive Chairman, Andrew Bray, said none of the aircore holes on the Mustang trend have yet intersected the target shear structure, which is where the firm expected to intersect higher-grade mineralization.

It plans to continue aircore drilling at the project in the coming days.
