Polish President Karol Nawrocki said the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's eastern flank, which sits closer to Russia and the conflict in Ukraine, must maintain good relations with the U.S. despite the crisis over Greenland.
"There is the necessity of solidarity in Europe, but there's also the necessity of building good trans-Atlantic relations," Nawrocki told a panel in Davos, adding that Poland has 10,000 U.S. soldiers on its territory and is buying U.S. defense technology. "The United States of America for all the eastern flank of NATO is a very important ally. Those relations are based on our history."
