Mosaic (MOS) said Wednesday that the suspension of single super phosphate production at its Fospar and Araxa facilities in Brazil will be extended by 30 more days.
The company announced the initial 30-day suspension on Dec. 16, citing the surge in sulfur prices.
Mosaic also said it does not plan to purchase sulfur in Brazil over the near term due to the extended suspension and will assess market conditions in the coming weeks before evaluating production plans.
