1255 ET - Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff is calling for artificial intelligence to be better regulated, citing chatbots that have effectively coached children into committing suicide and generated sexualized images of women and children. "It can't just be growth at any cost," he says in an interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. "There has to be some regulation." Benioff jokes that large tech companies hate regulation, save for Section 230, which generally provides immunity to online platforms from liability for content posted by their users. "That's probably something that needs to get reshaped, shifted or changed," he says. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
