Abbott Laboratories (ABT) reported a Q1 earnings outlook below market expectations on Thursday, and revenue in the preceding quarter lagged expectations.

Shares of the healthcare company slumped 10% as intraday trading volume soared to over 25.8 million from a daily average of roughly 6.37 million.

McCormick's (MKC) fiscal Q4 profit fell short of Wall Street's estimates amid higher commodity and tariff costs, while the company issued a full-year earnings outlook below market expectations.

Shares dropped 8.4%, with intraday trading volume climbing to over 12.3 million from a daily average of roughly 2.75 million.

Old Republic International (ORI) shares dropped 10% after the company reported Thursday Q4 net operating income of $0.74 per diluted share, down from $0.90 a year earlier and missing analysts' estimates.

Almost 4.5 million shares of the company traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 1.67 million.
