Apple (AAPL) is developing an AI-powered wearable disc, "pin" equipped with two cameras, a speaker, three microphones, and wireless charging, The Information reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the project.

The pin would roughly be the size of an AirTag device, and it aims to compete with other AI-powered devices such as smart glasses from Meta (META), Google (GOOGL, GOOG), and Samsung.

Apple plans to produce roughly 20 million units at launch as early as 2027. The development is in early stages and could be canceled, the people reportedly said.

Apple didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
