NexGen Energy (ASX:NXG) partnered with indigenous communities Clearwater River Dene Nation (CRDN) and Metis Nation (MN-S) Local 39 to develop a hotel in Saskatchewan, Canada, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The hotel will meet the demand for accommodation arising from the construction and operation of the company's Rook I uranium project in the region, the filing said.
The deal will be funded by the company, while CRDN and MN-S Local 39 will own the hotel set to be operational in July 2027, the filing added.
