Phoenix, Scottish Widows Mulling Bids for Aegon's U.K. Insurance Business, FT Says, Citing Sources

--Phoenix Group, Royal London and Scottish Widows are considering bids for Aegon's U.K. business, the FT reports citing unnamed sources.

--Dutch insurer Aegon said in December that it was considering the sale of its U.K. insurance and workplace business and expects to conclude its review in the first half of this year, the FT reports.

-- Scottish Widows, Phoenix, Royal London, and Aegon all declined to comment to the FT.
