Japan Hotel REIT Investment (TYO:8985) said occupancy at its 28 hotels with variable rent stood at 86% in December 2025, down 0.4% year-over-year, according to a Thursday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The average daily rate rose 5.4% to 22,365 yen, while revenue per available room increased 5% to 19,238 yen.
Total revenue climbed 5.1% from a year earlier to 7.16 billion yen, the filing stated.
Looking ahead, the REIT expects the market to remain strong, buoyed by steady domestic and inbound demand.
