ASMPT (HKG:0522) has begun assessing options for its SMT Solutions segment, as the group looks to sharpen its focus on its Semiconductor Solutions business, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The review will consider a range of options for the SMT unit, including a potential divestiture, joint venture, spin-off, public listing, or retaining the business under its current structure, the company said.
