Malaysian stocks ended higher on Friday, extending yesterday's gains after the country posted optimistic economic data, as well as easing global geopolitical tensions.
The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI gained 2.85 points to end 0.2% higher at 1,719.99. The day range was between 1,711.89 and 1,723.41.
In economic news, Malaysia's Leading Index (LI) edged up 0.2% annually to 113.2 points in November 2025, up from 113 points, according to data released by the Department of Statistics. Meanwhile, Malaysia's Coincident Index (CI), which reflects current economic conditions, rose 2.1% on year to 129.3 points.
In corporate news, shares of HHRG (KLSE:HHRG) slumped over 13% on Friday's close after it completed the bonus issue of 424.8 million new Warrants B.
Meanwhile, shares of LGMS (KLSE:LGMS) slid about 3% on close today after it completed the acquisition of 3.1 million shares, representing a 27% stake in cyber defence company, Antarex, for 22.7 million. LGMS also completed the transfer of its entire issued share capital to the Main Market from the ACE Market.
