Vulcan Energy Resources Board Approves Executive Remuneration Changes; Shares Up 5%

The board of Vulcan Energy Resources (ASX:VUL) approved remuneration changes for the chief executive officer and chief financial officer roles, effective Jan. 1, following a review, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The changes, which align executive compensation with the company's transition to the execution phase of its lithium and renewable energy projects, include an increase in CEO Cris Moreno's fixed compensation to AU$804,000, plus superannuation, as well as an increase in Group CFO Felicity Gooding's fixed compensation to AU$670,000, plus superannuation, the filing said.

Shares rose 5% in morning trade on Thursday.
